HR OptIn FAQ
What is HR OptIn and how did it originate?
Two forces in the HR industry led us to the creation of HR OptIn. First, the changing nature of human resources itself into a more dynamic and increasingly specialized, project-oriented set of challenges. Secondly, the changing outlook of many HR professionals, including many women, who sought to transition from full-time status to smart, flex-time positions balancing career and family. In response to client requests, HR OptIn added to its service portfolio by providing permanent placement services of HR professionals as well.
How can our organization best work with HR OptIn?
Flexibility, versatility and responsiveness are central themes to the working relationship you will enjoy with HR OptIn. Through a consultative, solution-oriented approach to matching your HR department's challenges with the right mix of generalist and specialist experience levels and functions, we will arrive at a proposal that is custom-tailored to meet your unique situation and individual needs. The solutions we recommend may come from one or more parts of the Human Resource spectrum, and include one or more HR OptIn consultants. Our proposal and work orders will outline timing, costs and other milestones in a clear and concise manner. Once work is underway, we strive to maintain contact with your staff to assure the quality of a smooth and productive working relationship and successful completion of your HR project.
How long are your typical contract assignments?
HR OptIn can fill assignments ranging from one day to one year. Assignments can be designed to provide project-based support or on-going client support in more of a generalist capacity.
Does it cost Clients anything to utilize HR OptIn?
There is no charge to have us search our system and provide you with resumes of qualified candidates for your open contract or permanent position. Should we make a match and place a qualified HR consultant on a contract basis, we will do so based upon a predetermined hourly rate. When assisting a client with a permanent search, we work solely on a contingent basis. Our clients will never be subjected to a restrictive retained search agreement. We only receive payment if a placement is made.
What level of HR professionals do you have in your database?

Can you provide me with an idea of what kinds of role you have filled in the past?
Certainly. We have placed several HR OptIn consutlants in work-from-home roles providing recruiting support to large-scale hiring efforts. Our shortest assignment was providing an Organziational Development Leader with a 4-day assignment to oversee the implementation of an HR Design and Effectiveness workshop. Our longest assignment was providing an HR OptIn Consultant who managed an in-house leadership program for a Fortune 50 client. We've even utilized an HR OptIn Consultant to fill a 4-month EVP of Compensation role at a Fortune 100 client during a period of transition. As you can see, we really do provide the options and the flexibility you need without requiring you to add headcount or pay for costly annual salary and benefit premiums.
