Another Successful Program with 21st Century Leaders!
ISHR Group is proud to volunteer our time and services with 21st Century Leaders. Operated under the charter of Georgia Business Forum, Inc., 21st Century Leaders is a non-profit organization that collaborates with business and education leaders to develop, inspire and nurture students with leadership potential to make a positive impact on their schools, communities and future places of work. The mission of 21CL is to increase the number, skills and diversity of Georgia's future leaders. G5@Goizueta, a week-long leadership program held on the campus at Emory University, was held this past week and we were thrilled to have the opportunity to lead two different modules. On Monday morning, Ellen Dotts on our team led the group of 75 high school students from across the state of Georgia through the results of their HBDI Profiles to help them better understand their unique leadership style and operating preferences. Our thanks to Herrmann International for donating the HBDI materials for the students. The students loved learning their “colors” and the ahas watching them share their strengths and frustrations in how they communicate was both eye-opening and humorous! They all left the session thinking just a bit differently about their unique styles. On Wednesday afternoon I took the same group through an exercise on branding and made the connection between a corporate brand, and a personal brand. We talked about reputation, what they stand for, and what they want to be known for in the future. We talked about “protecting” their brand. It was a fabulous discussion! This groups of ‘kids’ was amazing. They were outgoing and confident. They were hungry to learn. They were appreciative of the opportunity to participate in this program. Congratulations to all of them for being selected to participate in this program. Congratulations to the 21st Century Leaders organization for facilitating another fantastic program. I’m already looking forward to my kids being able to participate in this program when they are in high school. What an amazing opportunity! What do you think? ![]() ![]() |
